NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — Garden Spot Village is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a $4.5 million grant through Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), a significant step toward the creation of a state-of-the-art Center for Arts & Culture in New Holland. This transformative funding will empower our community to expand cultural programming, attract new audiences, and celebrate the rich diversity of arts and culture in Lancaster County.
“We are delighted by today’s announcement and the impact this grant will have on our community,” says Garden Spot Communities CEO Steve Lindsey. “With this funding, we look forward to creating a Center for Arts & Culture that will serve as a hub for our community to develop intergenerational opportunities for artistic expression, education and celebration.”
Chief Mission Advancement Officer Wendy Nagle says, “This award would not have been possible without the dedicated support of our state leaders. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Governor Josh Shapiro for his leadership and commitment to cultural investment in Pennsylvania. We are equally grateful to Senator Aument and Representative Greiner for their support for this project, ensuring that it became a priority for RACP funding.”
