Each spring Garden Spot Village partners with Mennonite Life to offer a Plain Living Educational Series. Join us on Monday, April 8 for a presentation entitled Gifts for Relief: From White Horse to the World. Ken Sensenig, a local historian and an Amish representative will talk about the impact of Gifts for Relief. An Amish-operated nonprofit, Gifts for Relief provides supplies for international aid organizations. Individuals may buy supplies at near wholesale cost and share them with sending organizations. This local organization has grown rapidly in the last decade.
