Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox, the director of media experiences and storytelling. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
We continue to slowly open our campus and welcome family and friends of residents to plan outside visits, when possible. As the weather changes and we welcome the cooler fall weather, we recognize that visits may need to move indoors. We simply ask that those visits happen in common areas like the Village Park or the Village Square. We are screening everyone who walks into our main building, so if you visit, plan a few extra minutes to let us take your temperature and ask a few questions. In addition, masks are required at all times on our campus.
At this point, our restaurants are only open to residents and team members. Please continue to visit our website, where we offer updates on Garden Spot’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and detail opportunities that are available.
One of the highlights of October has always been our fall festival. Unfortunately, this year we will not be able to include the public in our festivities but we do plan to host a resident-only Harvest Week where we will enjoy the best parts of the fall festival and community fairs in a weeklong celebration. Harvest Week is just one more example of how life looks different at Garden Spot Village!
Construction continues at Sycamore Springs. We still have homes available, with move-in dates between now and next spring. If you are considering a move in 2020 because you want to take advantage of a booming real estate market, Sycamore Springs is an opportunity you definitely want to explore.
If you are interested in learning more about this innovative new neighborhood, we invite you to an open house on Friday, October 23 from 1-4pm. Call 717.355.6000 to RSVP.
If you are unable to join us for the Open House, feel free to call Ric or Kelly to schedule an appointment to visit the model home at your convenience.
We just posted the October issue of the Garden Variety on the Events page of the Garden Spot Village website. At this time, events are only available for residents but if you take a look you will see some interesting articles about people continuing volunteer and live with purpose.
This has been Endeavor from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
