Hello and Welcome to Endeavor—a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Kristy Newborg, Sales Associate. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
We have a variety of special events planned for April. Join us on Tuesday, April 1 at 7pm in the Chapel. Servant Stage will present Little Women: The Broadway Musical. This performance is a stage adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel, which follows the lives of the four March sisters. This event is open to the public and is pay-what-you-will.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 and 9, we will host a LifeLong Learning Series. Rita Clarke, a local storyteller and historian will present stories of the Underground Railroad on April 8 at 2pm in the Chapel. Don Kensinger, a local author and retired educator will connect the threads of Navajo rugs, Theo Whitman and Mount Gretna on Wednesday, April 9 at 2pm in the Chapel.
We are less than a month from Race Weekend! Please plan to join us for an incredible day. We’re looking forward to a perfect weekend April 25 and 26. Girls on the Run will host the Kids Fun Run on Friday night at 6pm. The 10K and Half Marathon will start at 8am on Saturday morning. Visit GSV.run to register!
