Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox, the director of media experiences and storytelling. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
Today I am in Linden, a gifts and essentials shop located just inside the main entrance to the Village Square. Linden features unique holiday gift ideas as well as jewelry and clothing for everyone on your holiday shopping list.
December 2 through 11 — Linden, as well as Share & Care Thrift Store — will participate in 12 Shops of Christmas, a Lancaster County Best Kept Secrets Tour. The tour features 12 unique shops as well as a café and a creamery. Shoppers will discover seasonal décor as well as unusual, hand-crafted and hard-to-find gifts. Stop by Garden Spot Village’s Resident Services in the Village Square to pick up your $10 ticket, which includes exclusive discounts, specials and contests at participating stores and restaurants.
The Artisans Corner, a new shop in the Village Square at Garden Spot Village, officially opened in early November! From watercolor paintings to contemporary wall décor to artistic quilts and handcrafted wood items, the collection of handmade items reflects the artistic talent of Garden Spot Village residents and demonstrates how meaningful it is to create in community. Stop by and shop Thursday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
While our holiday events are not open to the public, our shops and restaurants are! Stop by for a hot drink at Refresh Coffee Bar and enjoy the beautiful holiday décor throughout our campus.
We just posted the December issue of the Garden Variety on the Events page of the Garden Spot Village website. At this time, events are only available for residents but if you take a look you will see some interesting articles about people continuing volunteer and live with purpose.
This has been Endeavor from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox and I look forward to seeing you soon.
