Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village, where you will find abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community.
The Christmas decorations may still be up but we are off to a new year. The team has been busy listening and anticipating the things that resonate with post career people. For example,
if you’re still working or you do a lot of driving you’ll be happy to know we’ve been working on a Podcast series much of last year and plan to launch it later this month. You’ll be hearing directly from residents about their experiences as they embrace a brand new retirement lifestyle. Keep an eye open for an e-mail later this month introducing our premier podcast series.
Unless you’ve been on the Radar Screen for quite a while, the fastest way to make Garden Spot Village home is a new cottage at Sycamore Springs. Even if you are on the radar screen it could still be the fastest way. You get all the choices that come with new construction and a pretty definitive move-in date. The first cottages are already under roof and of the 50, only 17 are still available. If this sounds like something that’s appealing to you please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Our half marathon, 10K and Kids half marathon is coming up the weekend of March 28th. If you like to run you’ll love our new course. Come join us and please tell your family and friends about the race. Plus we’re happy to give you some advance notice that there’s a cycling event planned for late September.
One final thing: If you’re on the Radar Screen or a Future Resident you know that you get periodic invites to exclusive resident experiences. You could get an invitation to a trip, an outing with the adventure team and new in 2020 there’s an experience team that is booking immersive experiences like being a soldier on horseback during the battle of Gettysburg.
That’s a glimpse of 2020 at Garden Spot Village. But let’s not forget about January and all the amazing things taking place.
We just posted the January issue of the Garden Variety on the website – and I encourage you read through it so you can plan your visits and take advantage of everything going on.
