Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox, the director of media experiences and storytelling. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
Now that Lancaster County has been in the green phase since late June, our campus is beginning to open slowly. As I mentioned last month, independent living residents’ family and friends are welcome to visit. We encourage outside visits in any of our outdoor seating areas or on front porches or patios. If the weather during visits is too hot or too rainy, guests may visit in any of our common areas, like the Village Square. We are screening everyone who walks into our main building, so if you visit, plan a few extra minutes to let us take your temperature and ask a few questions.
All public events will be postponed through August. And, at this point, our restaurants are only open to residents and team members. Please continue to visit our website, where we offer regular updates on Garden Spot’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and detail opportunities that are available.
Innovation is a core value of Garden Spot and we apply it to every aspect of our community. Meadow View Memory Support, a new, state-of-the-art building located at the corner of Kraybill and South Kinzer Avenues is nearly complete. We are currently recruiting team members and look forward to opening the building to residents this fall.
Construction continues at Sycamore Springs. We still have homes available, with move-in dates as soon as next month. If you are considering a move in 2020 because you want to take advantage of a booming real estate market, Sycamore Springs is an opportunity you definitely want to explore. Call Megan or Kelly to make an appointment to visit our fully furnished model home soon.
We just posted the August issue of the Garden Variety on the Events page of the Garden Spot Village website. At this time, events are only available for residents but if you take a look you will see some interesting articles about people continue volunteer and live with purpose.
This has been Endeavor from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Juanita Fox and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
